We’re a family-owned business – proud to be local – running our very own farm, shop, butchery and restaurant.
From our fields at Harwood Farm, to our butchery at The Salcombe Meat Company, right onto your plate at our very own Woody’s Restaurant, we truly shepherd our animals from field to fork, where sustainable practices and high standards of animal welfare make for great tasting local meat with a trusted provenance.
It all started in 2014 with just six sheep in a Salcombe orchard, and a vision to produce great-tasting local meat to the highest welfare standards. Seven years on, we’re continuing our dedication to hand-rear our own traditional breed, slow-grown, grass-fed animals, serving the South Hams some of the most sustainable, ethical and delicious meat and produce around.
